Maqluba Bazar is where the tradition from Palestine meets fine craftsmanship. The "Maqloubeh" is a cherished Palestinan dish, often hailed as the national dish of Palestine. This culinary delight is deeply rooted in tradition, dating back to the Middle Ages, and is a significant part of the region’s culinary heritage. The addition of rise and various vegetables, like cauliflower, carrot, eggplant, and potatoes, symbolize the region's cultural diversity.
Maqluba Bazar e' il luogo dove l'artigianato incontra la tradizione palestinese. La nostra selezione vanta una varieta' di oggetti fatti a mano e artigianali; ogni pezzo racconta una storia, con un tocco della ricca cultura di Betlemme, Gerusalemme, Hebron e Nablus. La "Maqloubeh" e' un piatto palestinese molto amato, celebrato come piatto nazionale della Palestina. Questa prelibatezza, la cui ricetta risale al Medioevo, e' profondamente radicata nella tradizione e parte significativa del patrimonio culinario palestinese: la presenza del riso e l'insieme di svariate verdure, come cavolfiore, carote, melanzane e patate, simboleggia le diverista' culturali presenti nella regione.

the olive tree is a symbol of resistace , hope and peace and is the sacred tree of the Holy Land . the wood that is used to produce most of itemsin our selection, comesfrom the pruning of the trees , which is done to increase the yield of of olives for the following years , or from old trees that are longer producing olives. Evry single olive and spring is lovingly hand-picked by local families with a deep devotion to their land .
L'ulivo e' simbolo di resistenz ,speranza a pace ,ed e' l'albero sacro della Terra santa . ll legno utilizzato per prdurre gli oggetti della nostra selezione proviene della potatura degli alberi , effettuata per aumentarne la rea negli anni successivi , oppure da alberi vecchi che non producono piu' frutti .ogni singola oliva e ogni rametto sono raccolti a mano con amore da famiglie del luogo , con profonda devozione per la propria terra .
Ceramic
In Palestine the art of ceramics is an ancient tradition that has been passed down through eight generations to this day. Over time this craft has remained true to its traditional methods, except for the use of modern printers for designs, which are still finished and hand-painted by the artisans. All of this makes it a unique tradition, especially in the city of Hebron.
In Palestina l'arte della della ceramica e' un'antica tradizione che e' stata tramandata per otto generazioni fino ad oggi. Nel corso del tempo questo mestiere e' rimasto fedele ai suoi metodi tradizioali, ad eccezione dell'uso moderno di stampanti per i disegni, i quali sono comunque rifiniti e dipinti a mano dagli artigiani. Tutto questo la rende una tradizione unica, in particolare nella citta' di Hebron.
